Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sapphire Optics. By visiting our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation: browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Section 1 – Customer Obligations
By submitting your order to Sapphire Optics, you confirm: You are aged 16 or over and are not registered blind or partially sighted. You are in possession of a written prescription for your spectacles that has been given to you by a suitably qualified person in the last 24 months (or 12 months if you are aged 70 or over). It is your responsibility to provide accurate details of your current prescription (including any notes) when requested.

Section 2 – Online Store
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor may you violate any laws including copyright laws while using the service.

Section 3 – Prices & Payment
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. Prices include any Value Added Tax (VAT) required to be remitted by Sapphire Optics. We aim to ensure pricing and information are accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct these and cancel orders where necessary. If this happens, we’ll notify you, and you may choose to proceed or cancel.

Section 4 – Children’s Frames & UK Prescription Law
UK law doesn’t allow prescription lenses to be supplied for children under 16 without a face-to-face consultation from a qualified optician. Even if you upload a prescription at checkout, all children’s frames will be shipped without lenses. However, the frames can be taken to your local optician, who can fit them with prescription lenses for you.

Section 5 – Limitations of Supply
We’ll make every effort to fulfil your order, but we can’t guarantee availability. If your chosen frame/lenses are unavailable, we’ll try to contact you to offer an alternative or refund. If we can’t reach you, we’ll cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Section 6 – Products & Services
We’ve done our best to display images and colours accurately, but screen settings may vary. Descriptions and prices are subject to change without notice.

Section 7 – Sending Us Your Frames
Damage is rare, but by sending your frames to us, you accept it’s at your own risk. If damage occurs during reglazing, we’ll repair your frame where possible or help you purchase a similar one — at your own cost.

Section 8 – Price Match
To qualify for a price match: The item must be new, identical, and available under the same terms in the UK. We and the competitor must both have the item in stock. It must be a genuine offer — no vouchers, affiliate codes, auctions, closing down sales, etc. The full cost including delivery must be verifiable at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to withdraw or refuse price matches at our discretion.

Section 9 – Refer a Friend
You can’t refer yourself. Only refer friends who are happy to hear from us. UK residents only — no business emails. We won’t share their data with third parties. Once verified, both of you will receive instructions to claim your reward.

Section 10 – Delivery of Goods
We’ll dispatch your glasses as quickly as possible. Delivery will be made to the address you provide at checkout. If your parcel doesn’t arrive within a reasonable time, please contact us. Check your delivery carefully on arrival to ensure it’s correct.

Section 12 – Your Right to Cancel
Under the UK’s Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel your purchase from the time of order until 14 calendar days after delivery. If your order has already been dispatched, you’ll need to return the items in suitable condition to receive a refund.
